We first met Jock about 5 years ago, we had just purchased our farm block and were living in an old shed with a small 1KV solar power system that would not even run a small fridge! We had already had a Gympie firm specializing in solar power look at the unit and they made solar power sound like something from outer space they fiddled about with a few wires asked a lot of questions about our power usage, charged us $500.00 and left us feeling totally bewildered and very sceptical about solar power. There was no improvement in the amount of power we were generating and because Tony drives by Jocks business nearly everyday he called in and asked if he could take a look at our system. That was the best move we ever made!

It took Jock a very short time to find the problem (the system had been incorrectly wired) and he soon had us generating enough power to meet most of our needs. After a few weeks everything was running so well that our faith in solar power was  restored and we were so impressed with his technical expertise that we decided to  ask Jock to design us a "stand-alone "system when our house was built.

Jock took care of everything for us , he even bought our old solar unit. The new solar unit is fantastic and we generate more power than we use . He was very efficient and you couldn't ask for a more friendlier bloke,  professional, and passionate about solar he made sure that we understood how to maintain the new system and we know that if we ever have any questions about solar in the future, he's the man to talk to!

I would like to thank John and the team at Solar Power Specialist,

I recently had the team install 12 solar panels and a hot water system.  I am amazed at what a difference this has made to our first power bill.  We are the envy of all who know us, as they have compared their power bills with us and are astounded at the savings we are making with solar.

As well as being very helpful with any questions we had, the service was A1 and the installation was incredibly fast and efficient.  As well as the normal household appliances we have a pool pump running for a few hours a day and the savings are incredible.

I have a lot of friends who have had quotes from other Solar Suppliers and are disappointed,  so I have recommended them to Solar Power Specialist.  As well as adding equity to our home we are astounded at the savings we have made and will make in the future.
