Solar Power Specialists was established in 1987 and is based in Eumundi on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

We supply and install solar technologies and energy efficient products to customers throughout South East Queensland. Our long association with major renewable energy suppliers means we can source the very latest and best products at competitive prices enabling us to pass these savings on to our clients.

Key members of the Solar Power Specialists team are accredited by the Clean Energy Council (CEC) and therefore we can offer Solar Power Specialists' clients access to all government rebates and Renewable Energy Credits. We are also a member of the Photovoltaic Directorate of the CEC. Being part of the Power Partners group, a BP Solar Sales and Service member and a Selectronic Australia approved installer confirms our long standing in the industry.

Solar Power Specialists recently underwent a re-branding process (previously Home Power Specialists) but we are the same company that has provided excellent service and products to our customers for more than 20 years.

In April 2009 we officially opened our retail showroom which is a specialist retail outlet featuring all that is new and wonderful in the solar and energy efficiency markets. The showroom sets an example of what can be achieved by homes and businesses to reduce their environmental footprint. We have 3kWs of solar power on the roof of our building, natural and energy efficient lighting, roof and wall insulation, cross flow ventilation which all contribute to our extremely low energy footprint. In addition, we recycle nearly 100% of our packaging locally and collect rain water for cleaning and the garden.
